Who are you (company) and how long have you been around?
Jive Software was founded in 2001
What does your product do?
JIVE IS THE WORLD’S #1 SOCIAL BUSINESS PLATFORM.
We help employees, customers and partners connect, collaborate and communicate to achieve breakthrough results in sales, marketing, customer service and workforce productivity. We provide industry-leading software for Social Collaboration, Communities, and Team Productivity, resulting in productivity gains, higher sales, lower support costs, and higher customer satisfaction.
What makes you unique in this industry that I am not able to get with other vendors?
Jive is a socially enabled collaboration & communication platform. Jive combines:
· Rich profile data on your people
· Blogging and activity streams
· Content creation and management, and Integration with your other business critical applications
And Jive is deployed across all types of devices, including PCs, laptops, tablets and smartphones. But a lot of other products have these functions, too.
What differentiates Jive’s core platform are things like:
· An intelligent search capability that filters through information and presents only the things that are most interesting to you.
· “Structured outcomes”, which turn communication and collaboration into assignments that you can monitor from start to finish.
· Jive for Office and Outlook give you seamless integration to the Microsoft products you’re already using so your employees can take advantage of Jive without having to learn a new application.
· And Jive Present and Jive Mobile give you the ability to push content to your employees via their mobile devices.
These things help you deploy and use Jive across your entire enterprise, to drive collaboration across the organization, which is what we call the “wide use case.”
We think the wide use case is great, we love it. But what we’ve found is that the key to unlocking the power of collaboration in a business is having one or more “deep use cases.” By deep use cases we’re talking about bringing the goodness of collaboration specific functions inside of your business, like sales, marketing, customer support and many others.
We have 35 deep use cases to choose from. And in many cases we’ve built pre-‐packaged templates for these functions based on best practices we’ve identified and these best practices are available in the product right out of the box.
Our view is that these deep use cases are the key to unlocking the value of Jive and unlocking the value of collaboration in any company.
We’re maniacal about end user experience and believe we have the best user interface in the industry. We want to make Jive as easy to use as possible because we’ve found that ease of use is the key to adoption and without adoption there’s no business value.
Finally, with respect to customer success and implementation of Jive, we have unmatched expertise when it comes to deploying our collaboration platform in a way that drives business value.
We have a proven methodology for implementing both wide and deep use cases, we’ve identified Critical Success Factors for our projects, and we have some of the top experts in the world on our staff to help our customers implement successfully.
We’re also strong at measuring ROI both before and after the sale.
Our view is that it’s not just about product, it’s about what you do with the product that creates business value and in this area we feel like we’ve got expertise that is second to none.
